Open Call for Art

NoNo Tattoo Collective in Berkeley is looking for artists to participate in a tattoo and flash themed art show, which opens Saturday, August 8th, 2026. The show, called “forever and ever”, consists of work featuring or exploring tattoos, tattoo design, tattooing methods, and other body modification, needlework, or themes of permanence and transformation.

We are interested in any 2D or 3D original media (paintings, illustration, ceramics, glass, mixed media, sculpture, fiber arts, etc.) Your pieces will remain on display for one month after the opening date and can be bought right off the wall (cash and carry).

Deadlines

Accepted artwork must be delivered to NoNo between August 1 - 6th.

Opening night is Saturday August 8th 2026.

Eligibility

This call is open to tattoo artists, piercers, painters, illustrators, ceramicists, sculptors, digital artists, printmakers, knitters, crocheters, and other artists. Absolutely no AI art will be accepted.

​Artists must be 18 years of age or older.

Artwork needs to be ready-to-hang with hanging hardware (wire / sawtooth / keyhole / etc)​

Commission is 75% to artists, 25% to NoNo.​

Artists must be able to drop off work locally, and pick up unsold work by September 27th.

Submissions 

We are a fully functional tattoo shop and our space is very limited. For artwork less than 12” x 16”, you may submit up to 3 pieces that fit the open call theme. Otherwise, please only submit one piece.

Opening Night

Opening night festivities will include flash tattoos and performances by licensed residents and guest artists of NoNo Tattoo Collective.
